After working for many years as a Pub Manager and seeing the Pubs change to a more Fast Food
Culture than a place that was an important part of the local identity and a focal point of the community,
I decided the job was no longer for me. 

My brother had become a Chimney Sweep in London and the idea had intrigued me for some time.

So I decided to combine the best parts of both trades:-

The friendly face and excellent Customer Care of the traditional local Publican as well as the
professionalism and skills of a fully trained and qualified 21st Century Sweep and once again making
the customer expectations important again.

So in August 2002 CRG Chimney Sweep was born in Portsmouth (as it had been our home for many years).
